Throughout the transformation, we will provide you with all the basic exercise and training equipment needed to continue the same great work at home. The definition of strength training is moving the joints through a range of motion against resistance, requiring the muscles to expend energy and contract forcefully to move the bones. Strength training can be done using several types of resistance, with or without equipment. Strength training is used to strengthen the muscles, tendons, bones and ligaments and to increase muscle mass.
Injury prevention, however, is one benefit that is often overlooked when discussing strength training. This is unfortunate as it is a very effective tool for a variety of reasons. Strength training improves the strength of the whole body, especially the muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones. Stronger muscles and tendons help hold the body in proper alignment or posture. This protects the bones and joints while moving or when under impact. The bones become stronger due to the load being exerted on them during training. The ligaments become stronger, and therefore better at holding bones in place. It also increases shock absorption during dynamic movements.
